Parish Planning Survey

Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, at the Parish Council meeting held on 9th March 2020, it was agreed that a broad community consultation should be organised to ascertain the degree of interest in, and support for, further developing some form of Parish Plan.

This is important because the ability to deliver any form of plan would depend, in varying degrees, upon the willingness of  residents to give up their time to help promote ideas, organise data, attend meetings and produce documentation etc.

The Parish Council are therefore asking if you would kindly consider undertaking a brief one page survey which can be downloaded by clicking here.  The document includes some additional background information to help you understand the task at hand, as well as details as to how you can return your completed survey to the parish council.

The more responses we receive, the more we can ensure the way we progress is in line with our community’s desires.  Thank you.

Resumption of Villager Bus Service – V22

After four months of suspension due to lock down the Villager Bus service V22, serving Longborough, will resume from Monday 3rd August. Because of the continuing need for caution over the spread of the virus there will be only 50% of normal seating capacity.

Unfortunately, running extra buses is not an option as driver numbers have been reduced by those who still need to remain isolated and this may cause some passengers to be disappointed but every effort will be made to make extra journeys where possible. Please note also that passengers will be required by law to wear face coverings on the bus.

Full timetables can be accessed by clicking here.
