Joe, our village publican, moved here from The New Inn in Willersey in 2014 because he ‘fell in love with the place’. He will celebrate 25 years as a publican next July and says he has lasted this long because he loves meeting people. Before pub keeping Joe and his wife Wendy ran a caravan and camping site in Cognac in France and very nearly stayed there permanently. Joe and Wendy have four children, Anna, Sophie, Tom and Luke – Oh and the donkeys of course!
Joe previously served on the Parish Council in Willersey for a couple of years and is keen to make his experience count whilst serving on Longborough Parish Council.
