There has recently been a dog attack on sheep grazing in the fields on Sezincote estate. One ewe had to be destroyed at the scene with several others left in a very poor and potentially fatal state. The vast majority of dog owners in our area are responsible owners, but as a reminder, it’s essential that dog owners take the right precautions when walking their pets near sheep, i.e. having them on a lead when approaching areas where sheep are grazing.
Everyone’s cooperation in this regard will hopefully mean fewer incidents going forward.
