Longborough & Sezincote Cricket Club Request

Use of Longborough & Sezincote Cricket Club during Copvid-19 Pandemic

During these difficult times it has been noted that the cricket field is increasingly being used to follow the governments guide lines for people to take exercise once a day, usually with their dogs.

Hopefully, in the not too distant future, the cricketers will be using the facility once a fortnight to play cricket.  However, with the increasing use of the cricket field for dog walking, club members who are working on the ground are finding that some owners are not ‘picking up’ after their dogs and it is now becoming a problem.

In addition, there is a little more litter being left on the ground.  The cricket ground is, of course, private land but the club would not want to ban people taking their exercise.  So PLEASE could dog walkers make sure that they ‘pick up’ after their dogs and ensure that any litter is taken home so that our ground workers are not left with the problem. We do not want to prevent anyone from using the ground so your co-operation would be very much appreciated.

Thank you.
