To commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the D-Day landings, there will be a short ceremony taking place at the Longborough War Memorial at 9:15pm on Thursday 6th June.
A “Lamp Light of Peace” will be lit, representing the light that eventually emerged from the darkness of war and there will be a reading of The International Tribute.
