Cotswold district Council have announced the following regarding refuse collections over Christmas and New Year:
- Garden waste is suspended from Monday 25 December and will resume on Monday 8 January 2024.
- Refuse, recycling and food waste collections for week commencing 25th December will be on Thursday 28th December instead of Tuesday 26th December.
- For week commencing 1st January 2024, food waste collection will be on Wednesday 3rd January instead of Tuesday 2nd January.
Christmas Trees – Real Christmas trees will be collected from the kerbside for those properties with a current garden waste licence. Please put your tree out on your scheduled garden waste collection day between Monday 8 and Friday 19 January 2024. Trees can be put out on their own or beside the garden wheeled bin (if being presented). Householders can also reduce their trees and put them inside the bin if they wish. Please ensure all decorations, lights and stands are removed first.
All residents can take their real Christmas trees to the to the following drop off points:

- Batsford Garden Centre, Batsford, GL56 9QB
- Hillier Garden Centre, Lechlade, GL7 3DP
